Why do I need an in-person visit before making a pregnancy decision?

When it comes to pregnancy planning, universally, there are three options.

1. Parenting

2. Abortion

3. Adoption

-Open

-Semi-open

-Closed

When undecided on what pregnancy plan to choose, it is important to collect vital information. At an in-person appointment at a pregnancy center, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Verify your pregnancy with a >99% accurate medical pregnancy test.

2. A limited ultrasound that checks for:

- An Intrauterine pregnancy (finding the location of the pregnancy rules out ectopic pregnancies).[1]

- Gestational measurements (how many weeks pregnant you are).

- Fetal heart beat

3. Client-centered options coaching

- This one-on-one coaching is what distinguishes pregnancy centers from other medical facilities. You will have the option to sit down with a coach to discuss all three pregnancy options with judgment free and factual information. Informed consent is a priority in our services. We want our clients to be empowered through knowledge of each option and to experience unconditional love and support from our staff.

Knowing the dates of your last menstrual period is not enough information when making a huge pregnancy decision.

Due to irregular menstrual cycles and other factors, women often find out they are further along or not as far into their pregnancy as they believed based on their last menstrual cycle date (LMP). Having a limited ultrasound will confirm your gestation as well as determine a viable pregnancy.

Statistics show that at least 10-20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage.[2] Other recent sources quote that as high as 26% of pregnancies end in miscarriage.[3] When determining a pregnancy plan, it is important to know if the pregnancy is viable. Once this has been determined via ultrasound, knowing how far along your pregnancy is will significantly help in making a decision and plan.
